Welcome to National Trail-MVCTC FFA website. We are an agricultural science program located in New Paris, OH. Our chapter has 175 active AET student accounts and 2 teachers.

Our students are developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.

Please take a look around our site to see what's going on at National Trail-MVCTC FFA.

Consumers were given the opportunity to learn about different breeds of pigs through the educational area at the Preble County Pork Festival. The Ag Literacy Committee created 30 interactive displays working with The Ohio State University meats team, Ohio Pork Council and the National Pork Council. Festival attendees were able to sample pork loin, watch a live retail cuts demonstration, and watch sausage being made in a family-friendly setting.
Each of the 90 eighth grade students at National Trail visited the Ag Department for Operation Become a Member. The Recruitment Committee worked with the officer team to organize a fun-filled day to excite and encourage students to enroll in the Agricultural Education program as a freshman in high school. The visiting students rotated through the department learning about the coursework, FFA, and SAEs to see firsthand that the program offers something for everyone.
The Career Success Committee worked diligently to put an informational packet together to assist community members seeking employment. Twice a month FFA members set up a Career Success station at the local food pantry in New Paris to assist community members with applying for jobs by creating a cover letter, resume and follow up letter. FFA members also lent a hand to community members who were filling out job applications.
Fifty-six or seventy-eight percent of Greenhand members attended the Greenhand Lock-in after a Friday night home football game in order to maximize their Personal Growth. Greenhands participated in a rotation of workshops led by Chapter and State Officers to increase awareness of their potential and look at opportunities the FFA has available for each of its members.
